PHOTOS & LOGOS

Photo images and logos need to be at least 4" wide at 300 dpi. We CANNOT produce a quality product from website images, business cards or computer printouts.  For senior or graduation banners, please make sure that your pictures are at least 5mb in size.  The higher the pixel range, the better quality of image we can reproduce.  As a rule of thumb, if it looks blurry, fuzzy, dull or grainy on your end, it will on our end too.  Please also make sure when using a photo that you have permission to reproduce that photo.  Think Signs & Graphics assumes permission of reproduction from the person providing the photo.  When taking photos for senior banners, if the athlete is wearing their lighter color uniform, then shoot on a dark solid background.  If the athlete is wearing their dark uniform, then shoot on a light solid background.  Do not shoot on multi-colored brick, landscaping or any other busy background unless that's the background you choose for your banners.  

PHOTO EDITING

While we do our best to make sure that your athlete is celebrated in his/her best light, the price of our senior banners is low, and does not allow for much photo editing.  We are happy to remove a blemish or brighten a smile, but color toning, removing or adding objects in photos, or any other major photo editing is not included in the cost of your order.  We will be happy to assess a design charge if you choose to use a photo that requires a lot of editing.  There is a $10 per picture change out if your banner is designed and you choose to replace the photo.

COLOR MATCHING

In order to achieve color accuracy in your final prints, please include a color accurate printout for us to match, and/or a specific Pantone color if applicable. While our files are largely meant for viewing in outdoor applications, we will strive to to hit your color as closely as possible.

FILE FORMAT

We accept both Mac and PC Files created in Adobe Creative Suite. Common submitted file formats include: .ai, .psd, .pdf, .jpeg, and .eps. All colors need to be CMYK. Make sure to flatten layers and convert all fonts to outlines. If working with vehicle templates, please make sure to keep templates on a separate layer, and art on another layer.  Embed all links, or make sure all links are included in your upload package.  Please indicate the scale you are working in. Files created in Microsoft programs (Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, etc) are not accepted. Files over 300MB each will also not be accepted.

To upload your art files, just click on the link on the right.  You can also email cynthiaj@thinksignsandgraphics.com with your files or questions about artwork.  Please note, if you uploaded artwork and have not received an email or some kind of communication, please call us at 614-384-0333 or email your rep.  During our busy times, we receive hundreds of uploads and we want to make sure we didn't miss yours.
